Snowshoeing in a local forest I was struck by the contrast of the sky against the, what almost appeared to me to be, blood vessels of the baron limbs of the trees.
The trunk of the foreground tree drew my attention up and focused my gaze to the center of the circular mass of "vessels" that appear similar to those on the rear of an eye when viewed with an Ophthalmoscope.
