Adirondack Zen

A steep hike along a debris-strewn trail led me to Cascade Falls in the High Peaks region of the Adirondack Park. The cairn provided an interesting subject, particularly when combined with a long exposure which renders the falling water silky smooth. A circular polarizer is vital for reducing distracting reflections and highlights of we rocks. Conversion to black and white was done in Nik Silver Efex.
