Rising Moon over Half Dome

This is a combination of two exposures that were combined to give a balanced rendering of the scene. The rising moon and Half Dome were exposed at 8 seconds and the foreground stream was at 30 seconds. The thing that makes the picture is the passing headlights of a car that illuminate the ripples in the river and the middle-ground; what a wonderful effect from something that would normally ruin a photo!
