On a recent mission trip to remote parts of The Amazon, my job was to take family portraits of the villagers, many of whom had never been photographed, then print up the pictures and give them to the people. Back on the boat at the end of the day, the young people on the trip wanted to do a portrait session. We were limited in equipment, wardrobe, and mobility; but the sunsets were spectacular. We had the perfect backdrop. They helped assist with the off camera flash.
