Taken in a remote area of Costa Rica, this is a wild monkey. Contrary to how it might appear this monkey was not smiling for the camera, this was more of a threat letting me know that it was not thrilled with my being there. Difficult lighting as the rain forest is quite dark flash helped keep the monkeys out of the shadows.
