Silently she stood

This photograph depicts a series of photographs sewn together that shows a massive 60 year old Power Plant crumbled into a pile of rubble.
The series of photographs was shot about a 1/2 mile away in a grassy marsh just after 7:00 am and first light. The structure from first explosion came down in a mere 26 seconds.

Canon EOS 5D Mark III Canon 70-200 2.8L MKII, IS off, MF Gitzo 6X Systematic Tripod Wimberley Gimbal Handheld Shutter Release Shot in Raw format, post production included multiple effects of layering, repositioning, ghosting and rescaling each of the photographs. In final processing I added HDR effects to give the photograph an eerie feeling as if spirits of the structure retained motionless while it fell to earth.
