Compass Rose - Overview

Local park features several remains of an old poor farm/asylum, including a stone compass rose. Each carnal direction features a stone with the direction carved into it. Between each keystone there is a rock wall forming a circle. Over the years at least half of the rock walls have been destroyed, leaving only the rock wall foundation in place. This photo features the entire compass rose from the southwest.
