Serenity

I pass this cemetary almost daily and each time, the gates are open. On 10/30/2011 at 8:55am, the light was low in the sky and "just right" for making early morning shadows along the stairway.

Equipment Used: 
camera:Nikon D300 ir dedicated Lens:Nikon 17-55mm f/2.8 Tripod: Gitzo GT3530s with Really Rite Stuff ball head. Shot as RAW; then color channels reversed using Khomagery's Faux Action to save time "forcing" RGB colors. Then cropped to 4:5 ration (8"x10"). Color Efects and Topaz Labs balanced the image. Finished by brushing in some lacalized sharpness.
