While wandering the grounds of the President Franklin Roosevelt home in Hyde Park, NY, I discovered this reflecting pond well hidden off the slope behind the house. The conditions were perfect, quiet, an overcast sky, a flat, still expanse of water, and lush trees hugging the bank and spreading over the water. Wonder what decisions Franklin might have reached here.
