A face in the crowd

I am shooting several indie bands in various venues and this image stroke me as very solitary, even though the venue was packed. For some reason, early in the concert, the audience seemed afraid of moving in closer to the stage, except for this girl who appeared mesmerized. The contrast between the angst-filled greasy rocker and the calm beauty under the contrasted lighting added some atmosphere to the shot.

The band is called The Parisians and the venue is the mythic Bus Palladium.
