Neighborhood Watch

This yellow jacket spent at least an hour on the violas my husband grows on our front porch. He was not only cute, but completely non-aggressive! He allowed me to put the camera almost completely in his face, without so much as a dirty look! My husband spotted the bee and moved the pot it was sitting in off the railing and onto the standing area of the porch. From here, I could sit on our steps and take my shots. So, with the macro setting selected, this is just what I did!
