I had the idea for this shot in my mind for a while, and one day as I was walking through the barn my horse was standing so quietly that I decided to give it a try. He was standing with his back toward the open window with the light just perfect, for setting the mysterious mood, that I felt captured the special and sometimes mythical connection that people have with these animals.
