This was my second night photographing the Milky Way. It was late September, and the evening were cold enough to limit the amount of time I was willing to spend outside. In fact, I only took a few more exposures after this one before heading inside. I was fortunate in having light from a neighboring cabin illumine the cabin in the foreground.
