Italian Broccoli Romanesco

Walking through the Pike Place Market I saw this strange, alien looking, farm fresh head of Romanesco. I couldn't help but buy it. While I was heating the oven to cook it I snapped a few pics. After I was finished with dinner I broke out the Photoshop recipe book and this is what I came up with.
