An Unstoppable Killing Force

On an afternoon game drive we followed twenty lions stalk, circle, and ambush this Cape Buffalo. There was no doubt what the outcome would be. It took a very long ten minutes to bring down and kill the bellowing beast.
The next night this pride walked loudly through our bush camp. It was nice to know they were well fed. Nothing goes to waste in Africa. Thirty-six hours later only the skull, horns, and a few bones were left of the one ton buffalo.
