I shot this for my portfolio near Lake Mead, Nevada. I first setup and took a test shot to get the ambient exposure for the sky where I wanted it. I then placed the model in the frame and focused in tight. I used a Canon 550 on a stand with a photoflex 60" white satin/black backed umbrella high to my left and as close as possible while keeping it out of the shot.
