South African Wheat Fields

I never expected to see wheat fields in South Africa. I wanted to capture the contrast of the wheat fields and the jacaranda trees that were in full bloom against the muted green tones of the mountain. Because this house and trees were so far off and I only have a small lens, I had to crop the picture to bring it closer. The neat thing that happened in doing this is that the picture looks like a beautiful painting instead of a photo. The lines on the house look like a painter's lines.
