Winter Flower Crowned with New Fallen Snow

While out for a walk, I came across these tiny flowers that were covered with snow from the night before. I wanted to photograph them but found that the snowy background didn't provide enough contrast. My solution was to hold my black glove behind the flower and to spot meter off of the flower itself.
