Harvest Moon

A photo trip to the farmlands of northern South Dakota was just what I needed to pull myself from the inspirational rut that was driving me mad. I knew this area, had grown up there, and returning after several years now with camera in hand, I was able to see it in a whole new light. Moonlight that is, as 90% of my shooting is done at night. Color was applied to this aging grainery building with a handheld speedlight/red gel. Bare strobes lit the tree branch and stubble field.
