We were driving up Highway 395 to Mammoth Lakes, CA. As we turned the bend northward near Crowley Lake, these crepuscular rays emerged from the clouds. I had to shoot through the windshield of the moving car because we couldn't stop exactly where I wanted to take this shot. About 3 minutes after I shot this, it started sprinkling and the spots on the windshield prevented any more shots from being taken.
The original color image was processed with Lightroom 3 and Silver Efex Pro.
