During a hike on Perseverance trail in Ketchikan, Alaska, I came across this tree with nearly bare branches. To get as much of the tree as possible I laid on my back and turned the camera at an angle. The photo was originally taken in color, but I later changed it to black and white using Lightroom to give it a more intense look.
