The crowds that had watched the brilliant sunset were long gone and the transition from light to dark was very narrow. But in this extremely low light there was the chance to capture Venus, the crescent Moon, the last light of dusk and faint reflections in the foreground tide pool.
A tripod, remote shutter release and a two second exposure were used to record this image on Velvia 50 film.
The image was scanned from the original slide. It was cropped but was not digitally altered.
