My photographs are theatrical. I have a penchant for creating jarring imagery. I physically construct every image that I capture. My work has a peculiar sense of humor. From reinterpretations of paintings to exaggerated still lifes of smashed objects, rotten food, glitter, and paint, my imagery is heavily staged. Through the reference of classical religious iconography and vanitas painting, my work explores themes of nihilism and the grotesque.
