When Azmyth, the model in this photo, responded to a casting call I posted, I knew I had to take him up on it. This guy's hair is just as crazy as his personality! In spite of that, however, I wanted to create a shot that was more quiet and pensive than the way other photographers had captured him in the past. True to it's title, his dreadlocks look like the roots of a tree in the way I had arranged them.
