Pouring day into the sky.

While on my honeymoon in Maui, we woke early one morning to drive to the summit of Mt Haleakala and stargaze before watching the sun come up. As the sun crested the horizon, a fog rolled in and obscured details creating a watercolour painting effect to my exposures. I decided to take a look at another vantage point below the summit I noticed before heading home. I scaled a small rocky ridge and was rewarded with the most astonishing view of the sun pouring day into the sky behind this mountain.
