End Of The Road

The rusted out old car that has become an iconic symbol of one of the most well preserved ghost towns in the western US -- Bodie, elevation 8300 feet, in the Eastern Sierras of California.

In its heyday, the town was once home to a population of more than 10,000, many of whom had big dreams of striking it rich in the California Gold Rush.
