Ruined Frame

I took this on a family vacation to Alcatraz in 2007 using my Olympus point and shoot. While most were disgusted by the bird droppings and decay, I was intrigued by the texture. Not much was was left of this building and where windows once offered observers protection with a view now offer the many seagulls a place to sit. The view is still beautiful and the ruins enrich it with memories of the history of the place.
