Taking an overnight flight to Sydney, we were able to wake up to the first rays of sun as they brought color to the darkened sky. This picture was taken from the airplane, and while I was groggy from being woken up by the pilot to point out the sunrise, I was eventually more than grateful to catch this first glimpse of a new land from high above the ground.
