Autumn Mourning

I came upon these leaves while walking through the woods at Hickory Run State Park, PA. It was broad daylight, but I underexposed the image in order to give it a more ethereal and emotional look, while also highlighting the beauty that they resonated. It reminds me of how quickly the leaves come and go, very much like life itself.
