Crossing the Nullabor

I spent three weeks riding this old motorbike across Australia from Perth in Western Australia to Hobart in Tasmania, sleeping in a tent along the way.
This photo is taken in a huge empty section in the middle called the Nullabor Plain (Nullabor is latin for "no trees"). The only signs of civilisation are road houses every few hundred kilometers along the highway, but following tracks like this one is always more interesting than riding along the highway.
