A lot of the traditional Parkour or Freerunning shots seemed to lack the drama that I was looking for. In this instance I utilized the setting sun, lens flare and the silhouetted jumper to add visual impact to the photograph. The fast shutter speed captured the backlit teenager taking a 'leap of faith' from the wooden post some 15 feet above the sand. Having that trust between subject and photographer is crucial in nailing the perfect moment.
