Bumble Bee Stare
By Rachelle Crockett
While strolling through the paths of Shore Acres State Park on the Oregon Coast, my husband and I found that we'd become a part of the sight-seeing experience for a little pollinator nearby. While looking at the blossoms, I spotted this beaten-up little bee staring me down as he gathered pollen. I took out my little Easy Share camera, flicked it to the macro setting, got down level with the bee, and began taking my shots, holding my hands as steadily as possible!
