I was a bit concerned when I took my trip to Lake Kawaguchiko that the weather would not work out. Thankfully the weather was just about perfect and the colors in the trees were really popping. These Japanese Maple leaves along the lake were reaching their peak as I was there, and the lighting was perfect in the early morning for this shot.
