Don't Cross
By William Carson
This is an interesting photo of a pedestrian thinking about crossing a busy Manhattan street. Notice the red hand "don't cross" sign at the right of the cross walk area.
I did not have a tripod and it was late afternoon so I sat the camera on a call box and used the mirror-up and self-timer functions on my camera. So I could have a longer exposure I used the smallest aperture available and used the polarizing filter I had used for other shots earlier in the day.
