Empire State Building
By Jennifer Young
I used a spare moment while at work to try a long exposure. I put my cameral on a small tripod facing through the window. I composed the shot, and then put on an ND filter. I put my camera in bulb mode and opened the shutter using a remote control. I left the shutter open for 119 seconds, which allowed time to capture the movement of the clouds so they appear smooth. In post processing, I converted the shot to black and white using Nik Silver Efex.
