Roofscape
By Benjamin Chase
I took this candid silhouette as a young boy was making repairs to the roof of his shack in a small village in the Dominican Republic. I probably took 25 or more shots before I got one where he was leaning over and swinging the hammer at the desired angle. Ironically, his work was interrupted a few times by bursts of torrential rain during this otherwise gorgeous, sunny day.
