This shot was one of a series taken off the coast of Punta Renas Costa Rica on December 26, 2012. The quickly shifting colors and brightness of light made for a surreal show. The watercolor-like reflections did not last long and were soon replaced by a bath of yellow and gold light, its intensity seen in the clouds edges, adding contrast to the dark silhouetted land.
