Wyoming Wilds
By Tom Shaffer
This is my $400 picture. I pulled off Harriman Rd to shoot this and ran over a rock that punched a hole in my oil pan. The conversion to B&W was done in CS6. The conversion of the sky produced undesirable effects in the fore ground so I made a selection of the sky and worked on it. I then did an inverse of the sky and got the foreground the way I wanted it. Then an overall tweak of contrast. Undesirable utility poles were removed.
