The Upholstery
By Hannah Marlin
Directly across from my apartment door was a large window which peered into the life of a young man in his upholstery shop. Every day his girlfriend would sit in the window and watch him work. Their dynamic was magnetizing. People would stop and watch him work and laugh with the girl. As I walked by every day I learned that this man has never "worked" a day in his life.
