Gondola, Venice
By Andrew Krupp
A quiet early morning allowed me to beat the crowds in Piazza San Marco where I could set up a tripod and use my x10 ND filter for a longtime exposure. The quiet morning lent itself to a gentle photo where the water could be smoothed out. I didn't care that the gondolas were going to blur. I wanted the motion to help bring life to the photo.
