When the Greek Gods Played Jacks
By Andrew Krupp
Walking along the port at Heraklion, Crete at sunset. I was interested in how the breakwall looked with the intensity of the sun and the haze in the distance. It looked like another world, like something you might find in a Sci-fi movie. I didn't have a tripod, but I did have x10 ND filter to get a longtime exposure. I set the camera on the top of the wall and tried to angle it the best that I could. The final shot was converted to black in white in Nik Silver Efex.
