Approaching Tide
By Lorna Mildice
There aren't a lot of rocky beach areas in San Diego, CA. I just heard about this spot which can only be seen at a very low tide. I looked up the tides and sunset times and wrote down the few days over the next several months where they coincided. It took a few trips to the beach to find some clouds. I like how the clouds somewhat mirror the rocks in the foreground. The colors were pretty flat so I put on my Gold-N-Blue Polarizer to pull out the blue in the water.
