This image was "captured" using High Speed Flash Photography and a colored backdrop during the annual New England Camera Club Council photography conference at UMASS. A 4 second exposure was done in a completely dark room. When the drop hit the water it pushed a switch which triggered the flash unit to fire, resulting in a colorful splash of water.
