Another trip to Farmington Bay,which is a wintering refuge for eagles. Saw about 2 dozen bald eagles but too far to photograph. After traveling the snow-packed road for several hours we sighted this Golden Eagle perched on a fence feasting on a bird.So intent was it that I was able to get within 20ft distance.
