This picture was shot on horseback while on a desert trail ride near Black Canyon City, AZ. We came around a bend in the trail and were rewarded by this majestic view of the mountains, which is enhanced by the contemplativeness of the “Cowboy Enjoying the View.” I had to shoot fast since there were a few people behind me and I couldn’t stop. I used the Aged Photo Preset in Lightroom 4 to try to further capture the Old West essence of the scene.
