This photo is a composite of two photos of the Kearsarge Pinnacles (in the Sierra Nevada Mountains). I took this photo during my hike along the Pacific Crest Trail. In my 67 days of hiking (I only hiked 1,094 miles of the trail) I only saw about one hour of rain. But, this rain happened at a great time - as the clouds provided a lot of drama against these already dramatic peaks.
