I work at the Winter X-Games every year and I always try to find a few chances to slip away from my responsibilities to grab some action shots of the snowcross event, which is my favorite to shoot. I set up as close to the action as I could and started firing away. This crash happened extremely fast. Luckily I was capturing the action right at this spot with burst mode and got three images of this sequence. Oh and don't worry, the rider was fine. He got back on his machine and continued on.
