Your Best Shot: August 2012

guardian of the wood.

By Casey Muir-Taylor
"cradled in her arms lies the remains of a dying tree. its flesh, soft, moist, and dank, has thrived as a feeding ground for the groundlings of the forest with their many legs. as the last bit of life seeps from the crevices lined within, she hears a seedling rooting in the distance and turns to look, glad to see new life springing forth."
