This photo was taken in Singapore Zoo, nature lighting, no back drop, minimum photo shop process. The trick is the metering. Direct metering from Camera will normally give a bright background. To darken the background, and show the back lit orchid, -1 stops was used. This trick can bring out effects that is not usually seen from human eyes.
