Open Dumpling?

By Richard Wintle

By Richard Wintle

While on a quick street shooting expedition through Toronto's Chinatown, I saw these cooks making dim sum dumplings through a window. I didn't realize the words "Open Dumpling?" were framed like this until I saw the developed and scanned result. Although I've spent most weekdays of the past 25 years or so downtown, I've never before taken the time to shoot in this colourful part of the city. Shot on Arista Premium 400 black and white film.
